Wycombe District SC
Wycombe Premier Meet 2026

Friday 13 Mar 2026 - Sunday 15 Mar 2026

Officials' Coordinator: Lara Edmonstone-West. Pool: Wycombe Leisure Centre.

Thank you for volunteering to officiate at our upcoming open meet. Please find below some information we hope you will find useful.
Parking – the Leisure centre operates a multi-storey car park next to the centre. The maximum stay is 10 hours and costs £3.
The Park & Ride car park which is only a short walk from the leisure centre is larger and the maximum stay is 96 hours! Payment for this car park is via Ringgo app. Up to 10 hours costs £3.30 including the Ringgo admin fee. This car park has its own entrance from the A404 and cannot be accessed by car from the Leisure Centre (http://www.wycombeparkandride.com/finding-the-car-park/).
Waitrose also has a car park for customers but this is restricted to two hours at a time (monitored by ANPR) so is generally not suitable for officials attending one of our meets.
Venue – as you enter the Leisure Centre please pass through the barriers at reception. All officials should report to the lead referee in studios 3 and 4 which are upstairs next to the squash courts. A lift is available.

Lockers – all lockers at Handycross LC require a padlock. Padlocks should be 40mm combination locks with a 6mm diameter shackle and can be purchased at reception if you do not have your own. We suggest that officials store valuables in the dry side lockers which are on the right-hand side after you pass through the entry barriers. The briefing room will not be locked whilst we are on poolside and valuables should not be left in that room.

Dress code and equipment – please wear white polo shirts with black trousers or knee length skirts. Please ensure shoes are suitable for poolside – clean, safe and closed. No flip flops. All qualified officials are required to wear their Swim England license. Wrist bands will be given to J1 trainees.

Changing rooms – officials should avoid using the facilities in the pool changing rooms as far as possible. Toilets are available upstairs just before the entry to the pool gallery and also downstairs in the dry side changing rooms. We would suggest that any officials needing to change on arrival at the pool use the dry changing rooms on the ground floor near the lockers. Access to the swimmers changing rooms is restricted.

Refreshments – refreshments and a hot lunch will be provided in the officials briefing room between sessions for anyone officiating more than one session. Please bring your own reusable water bottle and coffee mug so we can do our bit for the environment. Anyone with any specific dietary requirements should note this on the swim-meet system. If additional or alternative refreshments are needed there is a small café on the ground floor at the Leisure Centre as well as a large Waitrose store next door to the Leisure Centre. Hot drinks should not be taken onto poolside during the meet.

Mentoring – we will do our very best to provide mentoring during our meets. Kindly let us know specifics of any mentoring required prior to the meet so we can try to accommodate you and remember to bring your workbook along on the day.

Once again thanks for volunteering. We really couldn’t run these meets without your generous help.

About

Officials Sign-Up

The Swim-Meet Officials' Sign-Up software allows club officials' coordinators to distribute a sign-up web address to potential officials.

Officials tick their available sessions, enter their details and any special requests such as mentoring for the next level.

The coordinator and official receives an email when officials sign up. The coordinator, lead referee, meet organiser and club chairman can see the live sign-up rate and any gaps are highlighted.

The coordinator can add the lead referee as an administrator to assign jobs to officials. Configure which jobs you want to fill depending upon long or short course and level of meet.

The job schedule along with the officials' qualification and membership number can be exported to Excel with a tab for each session to produce the tick sheet on the day and the meet report.

It is GDPR compliant. The Swim-Meet privacy policy is here. Data is stored securely, it won’t be given to anybody (except British Swimming to meet their meet regulations) and the official has the right to see what data is held about them and correct or delete it here.

Lots of extra features to help the process from feedback from officials, coordinators and referees.

Swim-Meet is recommended by Officials' Coordinators!
